Hey all. So I was going over the "Spring Cleaning" procedure over on gnttype.org and when talking about doing a rear end lube change it mentions that now would be a good time to install a drain plug. It doesn't go into details though. I assume they mean drill and tap a hole in the rear end cover? Have any of you done this?

You can buy a drain kit from most parts stores. Drill the hole and install the drain. Do the tranny the next time you have the pan down as well.
