Downpipe dent

I loaned my 3" downpipe to a friend came back with a dent pretty good size like a half dollar. Its about half way down the pipe. Will this cause any issues with performance?

I doubt that’s enough to impede performance ive seen very few FMIC pipes that didnt have a flat spot on them. But if you want to fix it take it to a music instrument store and have them pop it out. You may also be able to use soft balls to pop them out.

Better yet, get the friend to do it.

I agree on the not bieng big enough to impede performance. My downpipe is dimpled in a few places to keep it from hitting the firewall. The biggest thing I have seen to impede a downpipe is a stock elbow.
