Double Din Radio

Has anyone installed a double din radio in an 87 GN? I mean without cutting up the dash too much. I'm looking at the Alpine INA-W900 but not sure if it will fit. I think the stock radio is a 1.5 din space. Any help would be great.

I just put a JVC double din in my regal about two weeks ago and the onle thing that I has to cut was the metal piece between the radio and the heater controls. Also, I didn't have to do any cutting to the heater controls at all.

You know, that's not a bad idea... I think it would be worth filling in the side's of that trim piece and sanding/painting to match.
