dome light stays on

Just happened with no recent events or mods to reference (pin the blame on)...

.door pins are OK
.wiring is all tight and unmolested
.maplights work
.dimmer works

Could it just be a bad switch??

Any help is greatly appreciated

Could be a bad dimmer switch. There is a white wire at the back of the switch that will show ground when the doors are open, or when you turn the dimmer to the dome light on position. If the door pins are working properly, I would start looking there.

1)pull both door pins
2)disconnect light switch
3) unscrew drivers sunvisor,dome wires run up on drivers a pillar.
