digital to analog conversion

My 87 GN has digital gauges and I want to convert to aftermarket analog. What is involved? Obviously I must fine a way to mount the new gauges but what about hooking them up?

There are plug and play dashes out there but they are big money. Call Caspers. Do a search on this . There are some cool dashes out there.
