Difficulties when typing a message

Has anyone else had issues when typing a message out, that letters do not get entered into the field? I know I miss a letter or two now and then, but it is very annoying. I do not know if it is something on my end or the board. I can actually watch the bar on the right of the screen jump around while typing that leads me to think that the site is doing something to cause it.

I have not been on here for a while and may not be educated to the way the board now works. I know it has changed so much and is difficult to navigate my way around compared to how it used to be.

When I had internet explorer that would happen all the time. I switched to Firefox and have had no problems since.
