Cutting out between 3500-4300 rpm

Replaced the plugs and wires.... No change. Is it possible I got a bad MAF or translator? I think my next step will be to buy a cheapy from the parts store and see if that makes a difference
Yes. But don't buy the "cheapy," borough a known good maf if possible. If you recently cleaned your k&n , and accidently applied too much oil, the excess can get on the maf sensor and damage it. That's another thought.
