hello,

i have an issue with my stage 2 street car. It runs hot in stop and go traffic (230-240*). Im thinking my current dual cooling fans are insufficient (12" fans). When i get on the expressway the temperature will fall and stay around the 180 degree mark. My question what cooling fan setup are u guys using in a street driven stage 2 car???

Dave,
what fans are you running now? The Spal dual 11" fans are awesome. We had dual 12" flexalites on our race car (598cu BB) and would not do the job. Switched to the 11" dual spals and temp is rock solid 180*. They do draw alot of amps on turn on but then setttles down. You really see and feel a diff in how much air these things flow.

the brand i dont know. but they do get dwarfed by the radiator. I`ll look into spal fans. thanks for the info. i really hate watching that temperature gauge go to 230-240
