If a turbo call for a 3200 stall and you used a 3400 or 3500 what would be the difference in the stall it calls for and the higher stall.
Would you see a E.T. difference.
you have to understand that converter stall is very much an art, not a science......stall is primarily dependent on HP...period
you may stall a "3500" stall converter at 3500 and I may stall it at 4000 rpm
in other words, buy something that is specified at the stall you need, and see how it works
it is always better to have too much stall than not enough (in moderation.....)
if you are lucky, you'll get a converter that matches your combo right out of the box....my experience has been otherwise...that's why most sellers give you a free restall
