The computers are diffrent but they hook right up. Your MAF will need to be swapped with an 86/87 and also you will need to add an air temp sensor. Since you need to swap mafs I would just upgrade to the lt1 with translator.
You may also want to up grade the 86-87 computer so it can run the larger fuel injectors. I don’t know who does them now, but Redd Armstrong did my computer years ago.
