Coilpack Voltage

This is taken from from notes that I took a number of years ago when there was an execellent discussion about the TR ignition.
The output voltage is the primary clamp voltage times the ignition coil turns ratio. So, it is 400 volts X 80 = 32Kv. I wonder if that guy on Jeopardy , Jennings?, would know this piece of trivia:D

More info

This is great info.
So what you are saying is that there is a switching suppy that powers the coil pack?
Is that correct?
With a ratio ratio 80:1
