coil wiring

just did some reading and came across something that has me concern. I have been running the car with the following wiring to the coil pack.

front : left to right 5-6-4
rear: left to right 1-3-2

123 driver side
654 passenger's side
front to rear

this is the lay out in Kirban's catalog, some of the post state that they are running.
Front: 4-2-6
rear: 1-5-3

My car is a 86 grand national, could there be a change in plug wiring between the 84-85 cars and the 86-87 cars?

just like to clear this up.
Thanks

Looks to me like you have the wires in the right places. I think the confusion is in the layout of the cylinder numbers.

Fire wall

6.....5

4.....3

2.....1

Front of car

If you decode between from the proper cylinder numbers, to where your plug wires are, it looks like you're all right.
