Coil Pack Gasket?

Do I need to use the coil pack gasket that goes between the ignition control module and the coil? I am going to put plenty of dielectric grease on the connections between the coil pack and control module and am not sure why I would need a gasket. Any opinions?

we sell the gasket my guess is the gasket keeps the moisture out of that area since that is where you connect the 6 wire leads....
