Does anyone know where to get spare chip carriers?

New from a chip supplier, they are like $9.00 according to a techie friend of mine. The junkyards are full of them.

They've been discontinued for quite some time now, and if you do find them, they're going to cost an arm and a leg!! $9.00 for a little piece of plastic

The junk yards will be your best bet. There's a few around the country that have a good supply left, but don't even ask to buy any
