Definitely a good idea replacing the hot wire kit look at the difference between the gauge wires this may have been a homemade kit anyways its in the trash. I know there's been a lot of negativity but race tronic lately but they do make some quality products an example is this hot wire kit

Parts are back from the coater. Installed drivers header tonite...twice...last bolt by firewall wouldn't start so everything had to come off for a tap. All is good now, copper gaskets with smear of copper sealer.

Steve,

Take those headers off and just put some stockers on there, those are too pretty to be on a car. We'll get a shadow box made and hang them on the wall!

I love what you did in moving the trans cooler and mounting it where you did. We'll definitely get air moving thru it there.

Haha...omg the bottom bolt on #4 major Pita. Headers..crossover are on. Tranny cooler finished. Bunch of rewiring and hiding of stuff done under the hood. Tomorrow I will install the trans and move on to bee's nest under the dash

Got the trans reinstalled. Pl and wideband installed. New turnsignal stalk, lastly repainting the column.

Looks beautiful. Trailer is on the truck, full tank of fuel and a new can of dip is in the console. We're ready to rock. Oh and uh, save some boost for me!

Big thanks to Bison for taking care of the turbo swap. Really looking forward to the change in drivability with the 6262.
