What is the reason for this?I thought I put it back in the same way it came out.The pump works fine just no fuel level gauge. The needle went all the way past full and stayed there. What did I do and what do I do to fix it?Please help.

Bad news...

You will probably have to pull the tank- again. Sounds like the float got stuck in the up position. You have to be real careful to get the screen pointed in the right direction, and the float oriented right, or things will interfere. MAYBE you could hit a big bump and the float will drop down, but that won't happen if the float arm isn't in the right direction.

Sounds like an open circuit. Make sure the connector is fully seated. You can also try grounding the fuel gauge wire in the chassis side of the tank harness while watching the dash indicator.

Thanks guy's.I will try the ground first then drop the tank.Either way it shouldn't take long.Maybe I wasn't as careful as too orient the hanger where it was suppose to be!Thanks again.
