Change-over 7.5 to 8.5 rear end

Got some feedback yesterday but I'm curious if any particular year 8.5" rear end is better than another (yes, POSI) and why. Thanx, Al

To me there all the same, the one that come out from the Hurst and 442 will have 3.73 gear in it. Also there are plenty GN rear ends out there with 4.10 gear and 3.73 swapped out from 3.42. Just make sure you pick the right gear and one with less wear and tear.

I have a one in my GN from an 84. My car showed up with a 7.5 when I bought it! The previous owners sold it prior to my purchase.
