looking to buy casting # 291 4.1 standard bore. cash on hand two board members have let me down one wants two sell me parts i dont want or need with the block. the other would not send pics of what he had 4 sale and it was not a 291 cast. will pay good money for the right block. looking 2 buy a rjc girdel but 4 a 4.1. thanks.

i have a few 4.1's laying around. i think they would all clean up to .30 over, some still need to be stripped. if i can't find a std. bore, what is your limit?
all of mine are 291 blocks.

I have a 4.1#4291 std shortblock-cleaned and magged-it showed a slight crac in the front plate-not sure if it can be repaired. the crack is not in the oiling passage. make offer if interested.
