Carburetor for the this cars are different than others qjets? Working on a 80 Monte Carlo and needs a carburetor

It's different and partially controlled by a computer.

I know there was a difference. Did it use different parts or just tuned different?

I think 1980 was the last year for non computerized Qjets on the draw through turbo cars. They are different from other Qjets. The turbo carbs get their fuel enchment vacuum signal from a valve mounted after the turbo on the intake manifold. If you don't have the correct carb with that special internal circuitry and that PEVR valve, you will have to adapt a Holley modded for boost reference. Don't try using a regular carb.
