I will try to tell this the best i can. I had an 86 t-type with rebuilt motor. at that time i added the following. JE pistons and rings, precision cam, t63e turbo, 50lb. inj., precision fmic, walbro 340 fuel pump. Still had stock maf. Ran a 12.8 at 106mph. Not nearly as good as I expected. Anyways, motor got pulled, car sold as a roller, motor put on a stand for 2 years while I did a frame off on my 87 gn. before putting in new car, bought gen 2 translator, 3.5 inch ls1 maf, h.v. timing cover. moved battery to trunk. Now at 1/2 throttle was fine, went wot and it sneezed, not backfired. and pushed a headgasket out. Not sure what happened to cause this. Figured it had to be boost blowing out flame. swapped in cometic head gaskets, then knocked out mains and rod bearings. Now I'm afraid to even think about starting it. I replaced the knock sensor. The guy at precision said it could have been my cam sensor 180 degrees off. but it idled at 750 rpm . any help is appreciated
