Can the fuel pump be jumped??

My engine has been out of the car for 7 months but is back in the car now so i was wondering if theres a way to jump the fuel pump to get the gas to the fuel rail since i havent hot wired it yet?? If so how do you jump it??

just turn the key to the ON postion, you sholud hear it(the fuel pump) run for a few seconds, turn the key off, wait for a few seconds, then turn the key to the ON postion, repeat until you have fuel, this should only take a few times, worked for me.

i think my pump went out, i dont hear it when i turn the key

nope, everything is plugged in, the relay clicks but nothing from the pump and the fuse isnt blown

Use a test light a see if there is current at the brown(tan) wire under the rear bumper, or you can run a hot wire to the brown(tan) wire to see if the pump kicks on.
