What are some of the symptoms when a cam lobe is worn
on a 206 206 flat tappet cam. Does the car idle funny, or backfire
does it run rich at idle? Is there a lot of valve train noise. Anyone with experience please chime in.

I just had a cam go bad on me and it took a while for me to figure it out. The motor idled fine but under any power it would miss and eventually broke a pushrod. It will also backfire out the plenum. The lifters will clatter and then be quiet for a while and go back and forth. If you have any thoughts it may be going bad dont drive it and check it out before it wrecks everything like it did mine
