cam sync, do I need it with Bank to Bank???

I have a SEFI8LO or in otherwords the older FAST system. I noticed while looking at my dashboard on ccom that the cam sync says zero. Is this cam sync only for sequential systems???

Yeah, you don't need the cam sensor with B-B.

Well, you still kinda need it, if you want the car to start, it syncs the ignition module. As without the cam sync signal there will be no spark ouput from the module.

well the car starts and runs. I just noticed that the cam sync on the ccom dashboard shows a red zero. Just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong.

Cam sync is used with sequential to indicate #1 cylinder

Thats correct and it is also connected in with the CCC module, regardless of which efi system you use you need it!

No its fine, the input is probably not hooked up to the box.
