Cam Sensor keeps breaking?

the little tab on the interrupter ring keeps breaking off. this has happened numerous times and need help solving problem.

We can repair it so it wont ever break again!!!!!! We would need the sensor, the front cover, oil pump gears and oil pump cover.

Is this a common problem? If so, what is the cause/causes?

I seem to be the only one in our gang that is having this issue.

What is the cost of the repair and expected turn-around time for the work?
