I took the GN in for a SMOG check today and she breezed through the emissions portion.

CO2 was 14.5
o2 was 0.0

2500 RPM
HC 33

Max
HC 120 (Idle)
HC 140 (2500)
CO 1.00

I used TT emissions chip, with fuel pressure set at 40 psi.
The bastards failed me for the fuel evap and the visual for my valve cover breathers though. Stupid CA. But thats easy stuff.

I'm going to address the breather this weekend. Is it legal to just throw on some breathless valve covers and be done? If not, I found the stock pass side breather, but my turbo has no place to connect to.
Any thoughts?

can't you just replace the breather with a cap right before you go in, then throw the breather on when you're done? Easier than swapping out the valve covers...

I capped the driver side already, but where can I get a cap for the pass side?
Is that legal? Or maybe get a n/a regal valve cover with no holes?

I don't think that will pass, and I am not toos ure how your motor will run that way.
