Bumper Weight Question

Was wondering what the weight savings are going from the stock bumper brackets, front and rear, to the light weight ones?

Also what is the total weight for a complete stock rear bumper of a 87gn all steal?

No answer on that link so...

Stock rear bumper with brace= 45 lbs.

Replacing the stock bumper brackets with the aluminum will save you 6 lbs. front and another 6 lbs. rear.

If you are talking about the bumper reinforcements that run the full length of the bumpers you will lose 17 lbs on the front and 20 lbs on the rear switching to aluminum. Well worth it.
