Does anyone know what power source feeds the alternator brown wire that should have 5 Volts come from; fuse box, fuse link, volt lite, ign, etc? If it is a fuse or fuse link location? I do have the Caspers field fix bust still no charge.

Looks like this power comes from the gauges fuse [20amp] THEN THROUGH THE VOLTS INDICATOR LIGHT BULB TO THE BROWN WIRE [alt regulator terminal L]. Does the volts indicator light up with key on engine off? if the fuse were bad some of the dash functions will not work tach, vss, check engine light and so on. Theres only 2 wires at the alternator the bigger red one goes back to the battery and the little brown one to activate the alternator when the engine is running. hope this helps

Yep check the bulb. a Volt meter should read 12V on the Brown wire any time the key is on. If not and the rest of the dash works. Its probably the bulb:smile:
