broken iac need help

went to take out iac pulled wire off whole thing broke off in my hand like it had been cracked and just hanging on:frown: anybody have an idea how to get this out, plunger rod in the way for an easy out thanks for any help

There are four Philips screws that hold the IAC housing to the throttlebody. Try and offset screwdriver.

The same thing happened to me. I was able to jam a rather large flat bladed screw driver in the middle and unscrew it that way.

jammed a chisel into opening then used a cresent wrench on chisel to back broken piece out, turned out to be pretty simple with help fro above posts
