brake pedal stiffen up

i was leaving the mall i drove about 100 yards with emergency brakes on then i trun them off but the brakes was fine until 8 miles from my house the brake light pop on then i press the brake pedal and it was stiff hard but the car wouldn't stop what can the problem be thank you for yall help

Your powermaster just took a dump.

More than likely unrelated to your short trip with the e-brake on.

b4 you buy anything, try unplugging powermaster motor, spray some wd40 on the connector, then plug it back in, i wish i knew this b4 i bought a accum ball! has worked for many, its free!

I'm going to try that on mine, (it just started to stiffen up) if it doesn't work then I'm just going to do the conversion to vacuum brakes. They work better anyway. I did it on my 86 T-Type & it was on my 89 TTA so I know they work.

Well, I tried it on mine & they feel the same , I guess I'll be doing a conversion
