Stock turbo, Dutt Neck IC, RJC power plate, all fuel system mods, TT chip. No wastegate solenoid, Wastegate is hooked straight from the barb on the compressor housing to the wastegate.
I have an aftermarket adjustable wastegate actuator, and whenever I tighten the rod, boost won't go over 15psi.
I removed the wastegate hose and plugged it, and eased into boost and got it up to 19 psi without a problem before I let off, so that rules out restrictions in the exhaust and intake. I'm thinking there's a problem with the wastegate actuator, or that I NEED a small orifice in between the compressor and the wastegate?
