Boost problem...

As i was driveing around tonight, i noticed when i boosted my boost jumped around alot...anywere from 15-20 psi. My friend and I expect a boost/vaccume leak but did not locate one. Also check headers for a major crack...didn't see one. Any help on what is happening/where the problem is would be greatly appreciated..thanks.The TR acted as if it was spikeing with the boost...20 to 15...15 to anywhere to 20 to 16psi...etc. Thanks to any replys of help. Hopefully not a big issue. :frown:

Do you have any kind of scan tool?

I would say you shouldn't be hitting more than 16 # on 93,and if you are it is probably getting knock retard and the boost then drops then picks back up.

What is your wastegate setup?

I run scanmaster, i didn't detect any knock when i boosted...don't know what waste gate is set to yet, asking tuner later when i get outa school.
