boost gauge question

im going to be installinga boost gauge inmy 84. 2 questions

1. i have 2 vacume lines coming from wastgate. which line do i put a y in for the boost gauge
2. how much boost does a stock 84 run?

Getting a boost reading from the wastegate lines are not the most accurate. Your "truest" boost reading will come from the intake itself...at least thats where mines hooked up to. #7 in the provided link. As far as MAX boost...I saw 29-30 psi for a few weeks before my turbo took a dump.

the vac/boost gauge in my car is tee'd right into the line going to the fuel pressure regulator, about 2 inches away from the regulator- my gauge sees what the regulator sees.

I pulled the stock pipe plug out that is on the front on the intake and put a fitting in very easy very clean look

I used the plug in the front of the intake as well. Here is a picture of where to plumb it in.
