Boost above 20 lbs w/high boost actuator?

Went to 1/8 mi track last night. Car was set on kill and it ran a 7.1 @ 96 MPH (no knock, 118 in tank) and 20 lb boost rock steady. Question is, i had the actuator set for 23-24 lbs. I am sure car would have gone into the 6's with the desired boost (motor built to take more). No codes, Direct scan showed all data dead in line with norms. Even though wastegate solenoid did not code, could it be bad? Suggestions, comments welcome. BTW, i am running a 63 turbo, TH downpipe, race chip set for max 26 lb boost, huge FM intercooler, all the usual goodies.

How are you adjusting your boost now? The MM Bcst system requires a second WG solenoid to go above 20ish I believe for example. I'm ASSuming here that you simply don't crank up the WG atuator rod then?

I assume you have an aftermarket solenoid and not a modified stocker. Stockers sometimes have a hard time getting above 22
