Have a friend that wants to sell a 3.8 complete engine but the casting # is 25526110 and have been trying to find out if this block is as good as or better than the 109 block, enybody have any info on this casting # it would be appreciated. Thanks Jr.

Until you get to the "Stage" blocks, the 109 is the best, I think. So, if ain't a 109, it isn't "as good or better". It might still be "good enough" depending on what you want to use it for. The sequence in numbers, coming after the 110, kind of suggests that it came out of a later vehicle than the turbo Buicks???? The turbo TA may have had a different block, don't know about that. I know it had different heads, crank, and pistons.

#6110 is the FWD block! Wrong bolt pattern and the starter is on the wrong side for a RWD application.
