Blinking dot on scanmaster, poor mileage

im getting abt 11 mpg, i really dont hammer on the car, but i did notice the dot constantly blinks on scanmaster....is there a way to fix this?

It is suppose to, it recording the data.

slow blinking of the 5th decimal means open loop.

any trouble codes? what is the O2 millivolts doing when driving?

yeah i thought the blinking dot meant open loop...no trouble codes..just horrible mileage...02's bounce ard but go up into the mid 800's...oh yeah TT chip

When the car is warmed up, cruising around, the dot should not be blinking. If it's blinking, its staying in open loop all the time. That could indicated a bad coolant temp sensor, or bad O2 sensor. What is your coolant temp when warmed up?

k i dont have the car with me today but ill try to ck it out tomorrow...i got it from Jack Cotton, and on the dropdown menu for ordering a chip, i believe it was #2
