Compressor wheel appears to be a T04E 60 which is common to the te44. The te60 uses a 60-1 small shaft compressor wheel and has 7 full blades/7 splitters.

Looks like I'm gonna be getting a hold of you for a new turbo soon. I've always known something wasn't right with this turbo. Something trashed the exhaust wheel long before I bought the car

A MFS (billet) 67 mm with a stage 5 or clipped p trim turbine or the old standby cast 67 will get it done. Your 10" converter will not be able to couple the power very well once the engine is making enough steam to run 10's. Low 10 sec power will show extremely high slip and e.t. and mph will be limited. The engine will be out of the power band out the back because of the slip. A 9.5" PTC will be requried.

Well I guess I'll just have to go slower. I only have 200-300 miles on the converter. I guess I'll just shoot for low 11`s. What turbo would you recommend for that? I want something that works with my current cam and converter since I have less than 900 miles on the build. I was already planning the injectors chip and alky. Was gonna do the turbo next year but now turbo needs to be replaced at the same time

Will a 6262 do the trick? Car is a weekend street car with a few drag trips a year

It will. You will need to run a good size wastegate bypass to get it to control boost. Ive got a cea6262 bb for sale. Also journal 6262 with MFS wheels available but not sitting on the shelf right now. Fwiw your failed turbo looks like a pt51. It probably had a weird sound to it when spooled with the rotating assembly out of balance. The turbine appears to be a stage 5 t350.

How much for Bb 6262? I just pulled the specs up for the pt51 and measured the wheels and that's what it is

The turbo never had a problem boosting once I put the stall in it. But would never pull over 17psi. It didn't have the normal whistle tho like all my other turbo cars. It would still break traction at 55mph. I'm scared how much faster it will be with a new turbo.

Click the link in my sig. I don't like to post retail prices in the forums.
