NEED TURBO! / TRANS!

i have an 82 t-type. with a 4.1 jasper motor and a edelbrock intake and 4bbl 600carb. a 7.5 rear end (stock i belive). right now it has a turbo 350 tranny with a shift kit. well its a junk tranny! im having to constantly replace the bolts on my torqu converter! just a week ago....out of the 8 on there....only 3 remained! and 1 was cracked. plus the fly wheel is cracked (not sure if that has to do with nething but its bad) plus when i shift from park 2 well nething there is a loud violent CLUNK! and it shakes the car badly. im wondering if i should just get a new tranny that is ideal fo my set up. plz help
