I've been searching old posts and just got Chris's book the other day and was wondering if any of the low performance valvebodys is any better than the rest of them? I just picked up a CR valve body today and found an AA in another car but didnt have time to grab it. Is there any real difference between the 2 and which would be a better starting point. whatever I use will be going in an 87 442 which has long since parted ways with its KZF trans. I understand the best way to go would be to get a KZ valvebody but funds are kind of tight right now and I dont have an extra $450 to get one. It will of course get a shift kit and the billet servo I just got from CK.
