Best backspacing for notched framrails??

Joe, I've got 10" wide rims with a 5.5bs and the rim fit perfect. I have about 3/8-1/2 of clearence each side with a 315 tire. The car is lowered too.

It really depends on the depth of the frame notch. Usually a BS of half the overall width of the rims works well. With a frame notch you could run a little more backspacing. If the notch is large enough I'd say you could get an 11" wide wheel under the car with a 5.5" to 6" backspacing if you are looking to max things out. I personally would just want a 10" wheel with 315 to 335 width tires.

I am running a 17 x 11's with a 5.75" bs on a 315 size tire. The fender has to be rolled or trimmed

First depends on how deep of a notch you do.

The optimum is a 5" backspace. When I was running the Draglites, the backspace was 5.5" on a 15x10 rim with a 1/2" spacer.

I now have Billet Specialties Comp 5 Series rims with 5" backspace on a 15x10 rim.

The lip is rolled on the quaterpanel.
