I have a bad MAF on my GN. I have a Max Effort chip. I do not want to go MAFless just yet. At least I heard on a street car the ME-R had some issues with leaning out. Besides going to ME-r what options do I have. Can I use the Lt1 MAF and a translator?

TIA

An MAFT Pro
A 3 bar MAP sensor
And you need to move the air temp sensor by the throttle body

Just go ahead and go with the ME-R.....I have no cruising or driveability problems with it......go to the ME-R board and ask Steve About it ....here's the link......ME-R WEBPAGE ....hit the tab at the top labeled "message board" and ask away.....good luck

There isn't any lean problems on the street unless you set the ME-R up to do that.
Usually they are on the rich side to start out with.
As time went on, like anything else it has evolved.

Mike's MAFT pro will probably work with the regular ME and you can use it with or without a maf. Never tried it tho.

OR...a lady I know has a new, never used factory maf for 200.

I ended up getting a used stock MAF. I may go MAFless next time.

Thanks for the replies
