Autometer fuel pressure transducer... How accurate ???

Has anyone ever tested one of these transducers for accuracy or calibration ???

Reason I ask is... due to a fuel pressure issue I've been dealing with...

I have a Snap-on analog gage that came in a fuel injection test kit. I set my fuel pressure to 43psi using this gage, and compared to the transducer it's way off.
The Autometer gage & transducer only shows 38-39psi... for a difference of 4-5psi.

I've since put aside the Snap-on gage and cranked up the fuel pressure using the transducer as a reference... but haven't had good enough weather for a test drive.

Any thoughts on this ???

I just ordered a gauge  . I guess if the fuel psi is set with a mechanical gauge you can still use the electric gauge to verify a 1:1 increase with boost.

I've found over the years, that the electric transducers are never as accurate as a mechanical gauge. The electric is OK for a reference, as long as you know how far its off.:)

Mine is brand new & low almost 1lb which I can live with. Altho its been a few weeks now so I am going to test it again to see if it has changed any.
