Autometer es temp gauge question

I'm having my gauges put in and I bought all autometer ES series Boost/Water temp/Oil pressure. Upon installing the water temp gauge, the sending unit and the housing that goes into the manifold are too big to fit. what size do i need and can I even get the one I need? lol I searched the forums and can't find the answer.

Can't help you with the size of the sending unit, but if you use the gauge in the pic, your needle will be stuck on the left side all the time. Personally, I prefer the needle to be in the middle, like in this gauge Auto Meter

I got it for super cheap new, so I can't be to choosy lol. I don't really care where the needle sits, just as long as it works. but If I can't get a proper sized sender, the one in the pic is the one I'll be getting.
