Atco Dragway abruptly announces permanent shutdown after 63 years
"Atco Dragway is permanently closed. We will not be open from this point on. The remainder of our schedule for 2023 will be canceled," the track announced.

It's on a reservation and the Natives want to build another casino.
They turned E-Town into a storage lot for cars. Not sure what they'll do with Atco. It's all about the greenbacks. Shame.Jersey is a long, long ways from me, but it still sucks that ANOTHER dragstrip is done for..........
We still have Tucson and Chandler, AZ.
I'm told July 30th will be the last race at the Chandler facility, but they keep stretching it out.
The fact is, Chandler is on the chopping block, it's just a matter of time.
