Assembly lube on PUshrod ends?

I am putting in new lifters and pushrods should I put some assembly lube on the pushrod tips and lifter cup? Thanks Scott

Yep...lube as many parts that will be moving as possible

The oil will mix with the assembly lube so it won't clog. Lube it up! :smile:

if the parts slide and dont have pressurized oiling they should be prelubed-----that means pushrods, rockers, cam lobes, valve tips etc-------for a good understanding of the different conditions of lubrication in an engine and for good breakin procedures go to zddplus.com and read tech brief # 11 & 12.............RC
