I have a guy trying to sell it to me in TX. Before I drive 1.5 hours to a bogus address I wanted to get more confirmation it is his and it is there, I have already asked for key pics. Thought I would try this at the same time.

its kinda hard to tell. There are lots of black ones out there! :-D
If you have his home phone number, more times then not if you search it on google it will show you the address. If it matches your gold :)

Just drive by the place. If it looks fishy, drive away.

If your that interested in a car, not just looking for fun then you would have no problem driving the 3 hours round trip. Now... if the guy is leaving out details. Then dont bother.

At this point I am certain this guy is trying a scam of some sort. He will not give me the detailed address and just wanted my full name and address so he could "send it to ebay for the buyer protection program" ;) . He would not send me the certain pics I asked for either.

I do not think the car is in his possesion. He is probably using someone else's pics. Maybe this thread will make someone aware their car pics are being used in a scam.

Nice looking car too. I am just mad it is really not for sale.
