Anyone ever use this?

Sounds like a money maker for whoever sells it. Many will get to the point where the injectors are "static", meaning full open all the time. What gain would the "injector timer" give then? Many more are running with the duty cycle way above 50%, such that the timing change will only affect the small time that the injector is closed. There may be some power to be gained from moving that "closed" area, or from having just the right open time, but it wouldn't be likely to gain much power, IMO. It sounds like something that Bruce P may have tried, though, and if so, he will certainly have info on what gains he made. It says it is an ATR part, but I haven't seen it in recent catalogs.

Yep, it's used to cure *detination problems*, and that's not to be confused with *detonation problems*. Yes, if the cam sensor is 180d out, you'll pick up a bunch of HP by correcting it. That tool is just an LED for setting the cam sensor, in that case, is a 9V battery the afore mentioned LED, a resistor, and a few pieces of wire.

And, BTW, I still have one of those in my tool box, I bought it used for like $10 since the last owner, hadn't figured out the reason it didn't work was because of a dead battery...... :)

WOW! Have you seen the current price on this thing? I had to look up the original price from ATR and it was $59.95. Boy, is the winner gonna be pissed when he finds out you can't adjust the injector timing by moving the cam sensor....well other than 120* resolution :D Obviously, the bidders don't visit the TR forums much........ ;)
