Just as the title says. Maybe through a service like E-Trade or another?

Looking for opinions, pros/cons, etc.

Thanks

i use TD Waterhouse...its has the cheapest trade transaction price..$17.95
i think i can refer you and we both get 3 free trades...i'll check into it

I use E*Trade been with them 4 years now.

No problems and have 2 bank accounts and a retirement account that is self directed there too options for that include mutual funds, cd's, and regular money market cash account.

Easy to use and very well organized including end of the year stuff for taxes.

Usually they are offering something to join, like $75 cash....

Go with a reputabile company like E- trade or Fedility(AKA BIG F).
It is so nice to trade from your computer in your PJ's :D

Some of the Big Guys will charge more than E -trade.
If you have over 100k The Big F charges $14 trade fees.
But if your balance falls under 100k WATCH OUT the fees are upped.

I'm using Ameritrade, and I'm paying 10.99 per trade. Also includes free Standard and Poor's research, blah-blah-blah. I've been happy with them.
