Anybody have gas struts for the trunk?

I am looking for gas struts to put in my trunk, instead of the spiring. I heard they came in late model Regals so if anybody has some or knows where to get some please let me know.

Just missed one

If you had posted the first of the month I could have got you one. I saw one at a salvage yard I go to in Mississippi. I heard about them but, this was the first time I saw one. It was in a 84 Regal. It worked well. I would have gotten it but, looked to hard to reinstall. Car is gone now. I was there sunday 29 and it was not there.

Try GM part number 20477735. This should have the two struts and any additional brackets to mount them. Used on 1980-1982 GM G-body coupes.
