any tips/suggestions for my stat install this weekend??

If you still have the stock thermostat inlet tube, I'd hold off installing the stat until you bought a billet inlet tube. Sometimes the stock inlet tube will be destroyed in the process of taking it out, then your car will have to sit until you get another inlet tube. Other than that, it's no big deal.

Amen to that! But if you cant wait,be very, very,VERY careful with it. Spray it liberaly with PB Blaster if you can find it or WD 40 etc,let it soak and spray it again. Don't try to force it or it will distort it. You can take vice grips and lightly clamp them on will help you to wiggle it gently. If your lucky it will come out w/very little drama. If it puts up much of a fight I'd order the new one! Good luck.

Yeah, good luck. I think I used channel-locks from the side and was able to get it to spin first then worked it out from the front.

so basically just work on getting the tube out and if it doesn't come out easy leave it alone until i can get antoehr one? Does anyone have any pics?
