Any differnence is 3 dot rods

I was just wondering if 3 dot rods are any different from 2 dot rods in length or strength.

I may be wrong, but I think if you hold the two side by side, you will see they differ at the cap thickness. I have several sets of both, but can't remember. I'm sure someone will chime in...

Yes, the two dot rods have "beefier" caps. At least mine do compaired to the three dot rods that are in my motor now.
